In the Spring of 1939, the University of Oregon Webfoots -- before they were known as The Ducks -- won the school's only Men's Basketball National Championship in the innagural NCAA Tournament. That's before Madness took over March. That team was nicknamed the "Tall Firs' by a local sports writer, L.H. Gregory.
At your Class of 1976 50th High School Reunion, our Main Event -- 76er Mix and Mingle will be held at Tall Firs Cafe and Events in Springfield, September 19th.

Jen has done a wonderful job of working with SHS Administrators and local venue management teams to help us create a great experience for your Reunion.
From our team's earliest discussions, 'cost per person' has been a real focus. Early on, it appeared we'd be spending $90-$100 a head for room rental, a DJ, very light finger food, decorations, a bartender, etc., etc. Costs have risen since we last gathered as a class in 2016.
Jen did excellent work at getting costs down, while still creating an atmosphere you'll enjoy and remember. At Tall Firs, we'll have a no host bar, a wonderful Charcuterie selection provided, a soundtrack you'll recognize, authentic SHS Miller memorabilia for decorations and, yes, Karaoke -- all for $76! Again, you can thank Jen for that when you see her.
You'll be able to purchase tickets soon, as testing of our online store is almost complete. Stay tuned on that.

September 17: Thursday Night Tip Off -- Meet and Greet at The Monkey Paw, 420 Main St. Springfield. No host bar and Food Trucks. 7pm to closing.
September 18: Springfield High 76er Campus Tour; Past Meets Present Presentation; Pre Game Tailgater at Prime Time Sports Bar and Grill, 1360 Mohawk Blvd. Springfield; Springfield Millers Home Football Game at Silke Field; The Post Game Show gathering at Public House restaurant, 4518 A St. #4606 Springfield. All Times TBA.
September 19: Main Event -- 76ers Mix and Mingle, Tall Firs Cafe and Events, 1488 18th St., Springfield. $76 per person.
September 20: Last Chance to Reunite, Roaring Rapids Pizza Company, 4006 Franklin Blvd., Eugene. 11am - 1pm.
